DAZZLING INCENTIVES IN JORDAN

THEME DINNER PARTY SUGGESTIONS:

‘CARAVANSERAI STORY’.

For an exciting evening, dinner can be arranged in one of the ancient castles northeast of Amman. Qaser Al-Karaneh Castle located 23 km away from Amman was built in 711 AD and has a multitude of doorways and staircases that overlap and criss-cross. The walls are meters thick and there is an open roof for clear view in every direction. The carved medallions set around the top of walls and the frescoes in the upstairs rooms give the Karanah its unexpected elegance and expression.
Guests can experience first hand the magic of dining in an ancient castle lit up and decorated to the original 6th Century Ommayad Style. All waiters will be dressed in traditional Omayyad outfits and menu will be catered by a 5* restaurant.

‘ARABIAN TRADITIONAL MARKET’

This memorable event can easily take place in the grand ballroom of one of Amman’s major hotels, transformed for the evening into an animated Arabian traditional market. Merchants display their overseas merchandise: spices and silk, faraway perfumes and fragrances; a Bedouin in traditional dress prepares his own special blend of Middle Eastern coffee outside his goatskin-covered tent, another is baking pita bread in an authentic oven while a third plucks the strings of his ‘oud’ instrument, accompanied by his friend on a wooden flute; Waiters decked out in traditional attires. The sight, sounds and smell are undoubtedly those of an ancient oriental market and your group may very well be enjoying this exciting atmosphere out of doors, after a day of fun and adventures.

ADVENTURE ON ‘AL HIJAZ’ STEAM TRAIN.

Transfer to ‘Al Hijazi’ railway station and get ready to take an adventurous trip into history aboard luxurious ‘Al-Hijaz’ steam train dating back to Lawrence of Arabia times. While guests will enjoy a drink aboard the old steam train heading on towards Jiza, one of the old Ottoman stations along the Hijaz railway, a surprise mock attack will be performed by a group of Bedouin horsemen riding their pure sang Arabian stallions. Forcing the train to a halt, some of the passengers will be “kidnapped” while the rest will be invited under a Bedouin tent for mint tea, cardamom coffee and oriental sweets. Eventually, guests will be released after a ‘thorough’ negotiation with the Bedouin Sheikh.

‘ROMAN TOGA’ DINNER PARTY AT THE MOVENPICK HOTEL SUN SET ARENA

For a night you can be the great emperor Cesar, a brave roman legionary or a gladiator, a roman senator clad in his toga, Apollo or Dionysus, Antonio or maybe charming Cleopatra, or seductive Salome dancing for King Herod the Great or…. just a simple and innocent roman ‘vestal’. Set up, arrangements and menu endowed with Movenpick Dead Sea hotel & resort exquisite ‘savoir-faire’.

‘ORANGE PLANTATION’ GARDEN PARTY AT THE DEAD SEA.

Imagine a dinner party in spring when orange trees are in flower or end of September when fruits are fully-grown. Wind Candle lights and torches along the alleys and tables placed under the orange trees, virgin white tablecloths and flower arrangements… ‘White gloves waiters’ to attend to your needs and a local band playing Arabic ‘oldies’ or a DJ to select the music of your choice. Open air dancing ring for you to boogie all night long and gather memories for a life time! BBQ dinner catered by a 5* hotel.

‘NABATEAN’ DINNER IN LITTLE PETRA [BEIDA].

Located just 500 meters from the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the 2,000 year old Nabatean tomb carved out of the rock face, can be an ‘out of this world’ venue for your gatherings.

‘1001 NIGHTS’ GALA DINNER AT TAYBET ZAMAN VILLAGE.

Gala dinner will be set up at ‘Al Saraya Hall’, which will be transformed to a Sultan’s tent with oriental style seating and mattresses, low tables and pottery. Beautiful and cunning story teller ‘Sheherezada’ will be also present and will enchant you with a languorous belly dance to lift up the spirits. Restaurant staff, dressed in ‘1001′ Harun Al Rachid outfits, will attend to your needs.

Candle light bags will be displayed from main entrance to ‘Al Saraya Hall’.
The menu will contain deluxe hot & cold oriental ‘mezzeh’ served with a selection of Taboun bread, whole stuffed Lambs, whole roast chicken with Arabic Freekeh. A selection of Turkish delights will be served in straw baskets.

‘BEDOUIN NIGHT’ IN WADI RUM DESERT.

Under a tent richly decorated with the trappings of Bedouin pride, guests will be main characters of a genuine reenactment of the traditional Bedouin welcome [‘Ahlan wa Sahlan’] coffee ceremony performed by authentically Bedouin tribesmen clad in their specific attire and wearing red and white kuffie. Guests will be invited to sit on mattresses at low tables and enjoy a royal banquet and entertainment fit for Sheikhs.
There’s plenty of music, dancing and Bedouin fare, fireworks splitting the pure, crisp desert air complemented by a camel or two bedecked in regal ornaments, sedately surveying the scene.
